At the time of creation of this event (1/27/21) the Missouri Botanical Garden is still planning on holding the Japanese Festival this year.

Assuming the festival takes place, the Bonsai Society of Greater St. Louis will take part in the festival in some capacity. During “normal” years the club puts on a formal display for the patrons of the festival. All members are encouraged to enter a tree into the show, regardless of their skill level. Plan ahead as if the festival will go on. If the festival is once again canceled we may as a group figure out a way to put on a show of the trees we were preparing for this event.
